The player who played the highest card then announces the running total. The other players then each take it in turn to play a card until all five players have played a card. The player who starts the game then flips over the top card of their deck as in the two-player game. However instead of putting the remaining cards in the middle of the players the dealer sets them aside and the game is played with the players’ own decks. Another variation on the rules is to deal out five cards to each player as before.
